Keeping the dogs separated until the foster dog has seen a vet or received a clean bill of health is a good preventative measure.

In order to run this vital service, we are always looking for volunteers to foster these dogs in their own homes. Additionally, the foster volunteer has the opportunity to work with the dog to correct some of the behavior problems that may have led to the dog�s surrender. We can only save as many dogs as we have foster homes for. As we do not have a physical shelter, we depend on caring individuals to open their hearts and their homes to care for and maintain the rescued dogs until they can be rehomed with loving, committed adopters. Copper is a polite boy with a sweet heart. We feel strongly that foster homes provides the dog with a loving, safe environment and allows for behavioral observations & modifications, and training.

We need more people willing to open up their homes, and their hearts, to help give dogs, cats or horses looking for a fresh start in life.
